The first picture is of an emblem on my car. I find that I enjoy taking pictures of the small things on cars. Details really interest me. What makes the picture is how so much is out of focus, yet what is in focus is precise. The second picture is really raw. It feels sharp, coarse, rough… just harsh feeling. I really like how the smoke is rising in a single line from a very dark source. The one thing that I wish I would have taken a clearer picture, it just seems kind of muggy. The third is of a shift knob, and I like this because of how sharp the reflections are on the center of the metal, but you can read the script on the side. The background turned out really interesting too. Its nearly all dark, adding huge contrast, but a luminous glow appears in the top right corner. I enjoy the bottom 1/4 of the metal because you can see lines, it just looks raw, cold and hard.
